Striving for excellence is a skill which can be cultivated and a mindset which can be fostered. Children are our most valuable resource and we nurture them with utmost love care and compassion. We instill in them long term values such as discipline, commitment, perseverance which will help them in every sphere of life – from success in exams to winning a marathon. As educators our role is to provide the children appropriate tools with which they can cultivate their own garden of knowledge.
We teach our students the importance of working hard, of being consistent, of timely submission of work, of making an effort to do better at the next opportunity available and being respectful to all. We applaud their effort more than just high scores.
The world is at a juncture where there is dire need for each individual to be aware of the latest development taking place at the global front be the active participant in it. A modern child, who has access to the ultra modern gadgets, is well informed and much advanced than his predecessors. So, to train her/him for the platform of modernity, it is incumbent upon three people with whom she/he shares her/his maximum valuable time. And they are the teacher, the mother and the father. ‘’ This triangle indeed is the real role model for her/him” was the reply given by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, to a question raised by a child, during one of his visit to a school, in Tripura.
We, at The Bandhan School, believe that schools are living organizations that influence lives of students.
